Locating Course Reserves
Students and faculty can use the Western Libraries course reserve system to locate, and in some cases, access their reserve readings.
- Go to the Western Libraries homepage or catalogue and click the “Course Reserves” tab.
- Type your course code (e.g. LIS 9001-001) OR course instructor’s name (e.g. Smith, John) in the search box and choose the appropriate option (course or instructor) from the options provided.
**Tip: If you are off-campus, use the Off-Campus Access login located on the left-hand menu to connect to Western Libraries server before you begin searching for your course reserves **
- The list of course reserve readings appears in alphabetical order by title. Each item will have a location code in the Call # column, indicating whether the item is behind the desk at the GRC (IMS circ 2HR for books or IMSfile for photocopied articles/chapters) or online (FIMS IMSe-file). To access online material, click on the title and then type in your UWO username and password.
